Retired Nigerian military generals have proposed solutions to tackle insecurity within six months.


Suggestions include giving a decisive order with a specific timeline to clear out criminals, implementing a “Scotch Egg Approach” operation to encircle and eliminate adversaries, and comprehensive reorientation of the police to handle internal security.


Emphasizing joint combat training for military, police, and para-military personnel, the generals highlight the need for a Joint Counter Terrorism Training Centre.


Additionally, addressing military weaknesses due to excessive internal involvement is considered crucial for discipline and effective security measures
