4 burnt to death in Kwara tanker fire

A tragic multiple-vehicle accident occurred along the Okołowo expressway in Kwara State, resulting in the death of at least four individuals who were burnt beyond recognition.


The incident involved a petrol-laden truck that lost control after a tyre burst, leading to a head-on collision with another truck carrying soya beans.


A third truck loaded with soft drinks ran into them, causing a massive f!re.


The blaze also affected three schoolchildren and two motorbike riders passing by.


As of the latest report, the fire service faced challenges in extinguishing the fire, and several passengers were believed to be trapped.
