Twenty-six-year-old Sarah Nwankpo is now cooling her heels in the custody of the Rivers State Criminal Investigation Department. It was for the murder of her male friend, Igbodike Anthony, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She admitted to having stabbed the deceased during an argument over more sex, in his apartment Obiri-Ikwerre area residence. During interrogation, it was discovered that she had sneaked out of her boyfriend’s place for the deceased’s residence on December 22, 2023. The group stated this against the backdrop of rising of killings occasioned by kidnappings, terrorist attacks and other criminal activities across the country.   Mr David Kiplangat, an elder who also served as an assistant pastor at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Ketitui, Kenya, has met his waterloo while enjoying an evening with a female companion in a local hotel. The 60 year old man was believed to have dropped dead after having some intimacy with his partner. The woman reportedly noticed that something was wrong with the man at some point and promptly notified the management of the accommodation before taking to her heels. Belgut sub-county police commander Charles Kibati confirmed the incident. He said that Kiplangat was found dead with no visible injuries and without any clothes on.   Armed bandits stormed a joint military camp in Nahuta village, Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina state on Sunday night, leaving a trail of destruction and looted goods in their wake.
